Do YOU think? Of Course YOU do!!
We all think. We all have opinions. We all have the idea that we have ideas. We all want to think we are unique and have the potential to be great. These ideas all cultivate in to the thing we people call: our minds. A curious and complicated idea by itself, but even more so when our minds have to communicate with the minds of others.
Now of course our minds do not communicate with other directly, we have tools to express what we think, and how we feel. But what we then and what we feel come down to one thing: our opinion. This is an area where the idea that we are unique is true. My generation is somewhat obsessed with the idea that they are unique. Pop culture and older generation has deemed us: SNOWFLAKES. But the funny thing about these said snowflakes is they all about these big popular culture. One idea in particular is one this topic of identity and opinion. My generation seems to what to be unique and think themselves important, but at the same time they are all the same, and they like to organize themselves into factions.
So lets ask the question again: Do YOU think? My answer is that most people do think ask as a individual, but these factions crush that individual thought and replace with the opinion of a mass. They claim to be snowflakes: all entities made of ice crystal arranged in different ways, but in reality they are becoming a big pile of snow that has been plowed across a parking lot, picking up all the debris of ideas along the way.
So this leaves us with a curious idea: If the your ideas are not your ideas, but the ideas of a mass, can YOU speak your opinion openly?
